June Coolidge Scott

As Trustees, alumna June Coolidge Scott ’83 is learning how SBS can maximize the impact planned gifts have on our students.

June Coolidge Scott ’83, MA, RN, ADA-C, is a seasoned career nurse dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities, mental illness, substance use and medical issues.

June is a medical-surgical nurse at Mass General Brigham Faulkner Hospital and is also president and CEO of Visual Vitality Consulting, Inc. The consulting firm, which she co-founded in 2014, helps organizations find accessibility solutions through workshops, onsite assessments, compliance review, strategy development and product/service referrals.

June’s passion for assisting others has led her to extensive community volunteer work. She applies her experience in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion as a guest lecturer at Simmons University, and as a volunteer with the Massachusetts Nurses Association, Mass General Brigham Faulkner Hospital and the Cape Abilities Human Rights Committee and Music Counts in Canton, Massachusetts.

A long-time volunteer in the Boston Marathon medical tent, June has been sought after to educate fellow volunteers in offering care to the Para Athletes.

A proud graduate of Stoneleigh-Burnham School, June served on the Alumnae Board for several years before joining the Board of Trustees in 2020. “I am passionate about the importance of girls’ education, especially now,” says June, a 2023 recipient of the Stoneleigh-Burnham Distinguished Alumna Award. “SBS helped me understand the power of speaking up, not just as a woman who is a business owner and entrepreneur, but as a mentor for other educators, too.”
